FLORENCE, Ala.- University of North Alabama Alumnus Frank Fleming '62, passed away March 18, at the age of 77.
Fleming was a world-renown artist and sculptor, having created many pieces around Alabama and the University of North Alabama Campus. Fleming is perhaps most well-known for creating the Storyteller Fountain in the heart of Birmingham's Southside.
Fleming graduated from UNA in 1962 with a Bachelor of Science in Art. In 1985, UNA awarded Fleming with Alumni of the Year award.
